Spring Is Here

I am so Happy!! The wheather has been so nice here in Medford. It is warm outside with blue skies, flowers coming up everywhere and bird singing. I love spring! It is so nice to be done with the cold, gloomy, rainy winter. It's funny how wheather can change a persons mood.

This bird on the left is kinda our pet bird. The kids named it Crash because it's always flying into our kitchen window. It will go from the branch to our window over and over again and Miah our cat will sit there and watch the bird for hours. Miah one day caught Crash and brought him in our house and he was flying all over in Ethans room until Robby caught him and let him go outside. You think the bird would have learned his lesson but he still every day without fail crashes into the window.

Happy Birthday Lexie

Tears filled my eyes today as I was looking at some pictures of Lexie when she was little. Memories came flooding back to me of the funny little girl she was. Lexie has always been so smart and talented. She can do whatever she sets her mind to do. Now at age eleven Lexie loves to play the drums, piano, dance, draw and write stories. She is now where she is liking boys, and that scares me! Lexie has a big crush on Zack Efron from the movies Hairspray and Highschool Musical. She is a good big sister and everyone loves and looks up to her. I'm so blessed to be her Mother and I want her to know that I love her very much and I hope she has a very Happy Birthday!

Travis' Birthday Party

Last night we had a party for Travis' birthday. We had dinner, played rock band and just had fun visiting with people we haven't seen in a long time. I just wanted to thank all of you that came for making Travis' Birthday a fun day!

My Brother

I was able to spend some one on one time with my brother Aaron yesterday. Aaron had the day off and he decided to spend it with me and that made me so happy! We played Rock Band together and Aaron rocked it out on the guitar. Our band The Sitters was very popular and we won all kinds of new songs. Aaron, I want you to know that I love you and I'm so glad that you and Carrie live here. Thanks for hangin' out with me yesterday I had so much fun. We need to get together more often!

Cameron Playing With The Vacuum

I have come to realize that I'm old. I watched Cameron all day yesterday and it was really hard. Cameron is a very good kid and I love him, but I have a hard enough time taking care of my own kids. When adding an extra little one into the mix of everything it can be very hard. Bryson at this point in his life has to have my full attention and he has a very hard time when I'm giving it to someone else. I'm happy to say that five is the perfect number of children for me.

Let's Party!

I would like to invite all of you to Travis' Birthday Party/Kitchen Party at my house on Feb 26th at 6:00pm. Their will be dinner and lots of fun. Please let me (Kathlene) know if you can make it. If you tell Travis it wont get back to me, and I want to make sure I make enough food for everyone. We hope to see you there!

Tootie And The Night Owls

Travis got an early bithday present last night. We had so much fun playing Rock Band that Travis went out and bought the game. All day long I have had the game going and the kids can't get enough of it. Bryson even knows what to do with the drum sticks. Lexie is very good on the drums and the rest of the kids just have fun playing. I think I might finally have a game that I love to play!

My Boys

Before I left to get the kids from piano today I asked Ethan if he would watch Bryson for me while I ran down the street to get the kids. He told me he would and I gave Bryson a bottle and left. When I came back home they were both asleep on the chair. I'm so blessed to have such wonderful kids who love and take care of each other. Ethan loves Bryson so much and I'm so glad that he has a little brother to watch over and play with. They are so cute together!Bryson loves to wrestle Ethan and battle Ethan with his light sabers.

My Pretty Allison

Allison got her pallet expander removed today and a recieved a full set of braces. Allison no longer needs to worry about her underbite. She was so good at wearing her head gear that her jaw lined up and she won't have to have surgery to correct it. She will need to wear her braces for a while but when its all over she will have the prettiest smile!

Our Rock Band

We started our own Rock Band last night. Travis and Anthony on guitar, Robby on drums and I was the lead singer. This game is so cool! You play and sing in a band and your band gets rated and each person in the band gets a separate rating. If your band totally Rocks It than you get more songs to play and new Gigs. Travis looked so Hot on the guitar and we had so much fun! I think we are going to get this game for Travis' birthday.

Bear Creek Park

It was so nice today that we just had to go to the park. Right when we got there Madison triped and hurt herself so she didn't want to play. Bryson had so much fun swinging in the swing, Ethan took off the moment we got there and was playing with one of his friends he saw from school. Lexie had fun playing with her new friend Megan and swinging with Bryson. They didn't get to play very long because Madison was hurt and wanted to go home.

I got these flowers from Travis on Vanlentines and this picture of Bryson is for Sonnet. I saw a picture of Dean sleeping like this and then later on that same day saw Bryson sleeping with his little bum in the air.

This is Bryson enjoying one of my valentine cupcakes. Bryson is no longer a prisoner in the family room. He learned how to back down our stairs yesterday and now he is free to roam around and play with the kids.

Last night we had family night and we made shakes together and watched Lehi's Dream. During the movie Bryson was trying so hard to get to the kids candy that they had lying on the side table. After the movie I looked over and saw Bryson shoving a snickers bar in his mouth as fast as he could. It was so funny that I just had to take a picture.

Goodbye Elder Pincock! He is moving to a different district tonight. We had so many good times with him and Elder Leet. We enjoyed having them over for missionary discussions and just to hang out. Our family will miss him so much!
