What an Imagination

Lexie is very talented, she made this hot sauce crown and a bow and arrow out of sticks and fishing line! She has a big imagination and is very creative. Lexie has always been very creative even as a very little girl. She is always creating and making things that no one would ever think of making. I hope that she is never afraid to share her talents because she is one special girl.

Lexie made "hand cookies" in Papa and Nana's new house the were building in 2001

This is one of the pages from Lexie's book that she made for her Grandpa in 2001

Lexie made this girl in 2002 with wood and wood circles she found in Nana and Papa's back yard.

Smore Oven

I made a smore oven out of a pizza box for the kids. After school we got together and put the smores together and then had them cook in the sun. They didn't turn out like I would have like them to because the chocolate melted too fast and the marshmallow's didn't melt fast enough, but they were still very yummy.

Madison's Preschool Graduation

Madison Graduated from preschool today. I can't believe that she will be in Kindergarten this fall, she is growing too fast. This is Madison with the girls from her class, Kyla and Julia. I would have taken a picture of her with all her class mates but Chris left early. Madison loved preschool and is very excited for Kindergarten.

My Blog Book

I got my Blog book yesterday. It made me so happy to see 266 pages of my work put together in a nice hard cover book. I don't have the time or patience for scrapbooking and I have always had a hard time keeping a journal. That's why I love this book because Blurb took all my pictures and my journaling from my blog and combined it in this wonderful book. Thank you Tara and Anja for telling me about Blurb, now all my hard work is saved in a book that I can enjoy.

We Have A New Sonic

Today we went and had lunch at the new Sonic that just opened today off of Delta Waters Road across from Safeway. Travis is so happy because that is one of his favorite places to eat. Then we went mini golfing at the Family Fun Center I got a crazy hole in one and then Lexie got a hole in one twice. The mini golf champion was Travis of course but we all had a fun time.

Fun with the Eisenbrandts

Tim and Anja came over for a BBQ last night. Tim grilled some steaks, hamburgers, hot dogs and yummy corn on the cob. With our dinner we had fruit salad and a yummy noodle salad that Anja made. After dinner Chase and Bryson played outside in the bubbles and had a great time. Later our band the Streakers got together for some Gigs in L.A., Chicago, Boston and other places around the country. Let's just say we Rock and and our fans love us!

Chalk Art

The kids had fun tonight with the chalk. I have some pretty artistic children! I love the pictures they drew of all of the kids jumping on the trampoline. They sure are detailed and have a big imagination.

Allison's picture is on the left and Maddy is finishing hers up on the right

On the lower right is Ethan's finished art work. Kids jumping on the trampoline, our house, mountains, clouds , sun, sky, and that big round thing is our fire pit. Ethan drew us all around the fire pit roasting marshmallow's.

Bubbles

Madison and Allison outside having fun with the bubbles. My lawn was nice and green a week ago! The weather here has been so hot and because we don't have a sprinkler system our poor lawn suffered.

Curriculum Fair

Tonight was the Curriculum Fair at the kids school. Lexie and Allison each had their own performances and they both did a great job. I also got to go around to the kids class rooms and look at the work they have done during the year. We had a good time together!

NARNIA PRINCE CASPIAN

Thanks to Robby and his willingness to watch Bryson, I got to go out last night and watch Narnia Prince Caspian with the rest of the family. It was a good movie with a good message. The message I got from it was that sometimes we go through trials and we think we are alone but Our Father in Heaven is always there and loves us. We just need to go to him in faith and ask for his help and we will be blessed. It was a very good movie!

Wildlife Images

Allison and Travis went on a field trip today to Wilife Images and it sounds like they had lots of fun together. This first picture is Allison with one of her friends Victoria. Allison loves doing things with her dad and I'm glad the got to spend some extra quality time together.

My Roses are Blooming

Yeah! It's a rainy day and I'm so happy it's raining because it has been so hot and my lawn really needed some water.

Hangin' With Friends

We went swimming at the Hedgpeths house today. The weather here has been in the triple digits and it is hard to be outside unless you are getting wet.
