Easter Cake

I made this fun Easter cake for the kids. I saw it on the Internet and I thought I would try it out. I never make fancy cakes, so when the kids saw this cake they were very surprised.

Easter Egg Hunt

We went to Aunt Debbie's for a egg hunt and the kids had so much fun! Aunt Debbie's lawn was covered in Easter eggs and each child had their basket overflowing with eggs. After the egg hunt we roasted hot dogs and visited with Aunt Debbie and Uncle Jim.

Pear Blossom Parade

The parades in Medford aren't like the ones in Utah. In Medford they don't through candy like they do in Utah. I don't think they are allowed to through candy here, they just pass it out and the kids didn't get that much. It was so nice to be outside and the parade we enjoyed watching the parade!

"Mom I Stuck!"

My trouble maker got himself stuck behind the couch today. What a little stinker! It wasn't very easy getting him out. This first picture reminds me of when Ethan was little. My Mom was watching him and he got stuck in the couch and only his little head was poking out.

My Morning

This pretty tree just outside of my kitchen window, behind my kitchen sink, makes me so happy every morning. When I'm doing dishes or getting breakfast made for the kids, I'm just a little happier doing it all because I have this pretty pink tree to look at and enjoy.

I don't know if it's just my kids or if there are others out there, who have to pat down their cereal in their bowel before the milk is poured. I think it's funny! Everyone of my kids have done this. They even have to get all the cereal smash down in the milk with their spoon before they start to eat. It's they same little routine ever time they eat cereal. How many of you have kids who do this same thing?

Bryson's Body Art

I have caught Bryson several times with marker or pen all over his body. I wasn't too surprised this morning to find him covered in marker . I love that he loves to color or draw I just wish he could keep all his art work on paper and not his skin.

Help Me Please!

I was looking at hairstyles on the Internet because I want a different look. I asked Travis for some help because I care the most about his opinion and he said what he always says " I like your hair long and I like it short." or " You look good no matter what you do." that is very sweet but I want him to give me more than that. I know that not many people read my blog especially now that I've gone private, but I would like some opinions on which style would look the best on me. The Farm (The longest post ever)

We decided to surprise the kids, so took them to the Farm today for an Easter egg hunt, see the Easter bunny, ride ponies and pet all the farm animals. Lexie was a little bummed because she was too old to hunt for Easter eggs, but she soon got over it and we all had a great time together.

Pony rides are the best! It was so fun to see the kids riding along on the ponies. Each one of my kids had big smile on their face.

We had a great time petting the farm animals. The little pigs and the kangaroos were my favorite.

This deer was in the movie Twilight and it made Lexie very happy. After petting it she said " Edward touched this deer and now I have Edward germs." This deer made Lexie's day.

The Farm had a big box filled with corn and pinto beans. The kids had fun doing corn angels and playing with the tractors.

Travis pushed each one of our kids in the big swing and spent some time being a cowboy.

It's So hard To Say Goodbye!

Slurpee Addiction

Travis can't live without his Mountain Dew Slurpee's. He has to have one before work and then stops and gets one on the way home. Travis even gets cravings at two in the morning and has to go out and get his Slurpee fix. He goes to 7 eleven so much, the people there know him and give him free Slurpee's. Because he's one of their most frequent customers. Travis has a Slurpee addiction! No one loves Slurpee's as much as Travis does.

Another Change

You know me and how I always want to change my look. I was going to put dark red or some other fun color in pieces of my hair but instead I dyed it Auburn. People always call me a red head, I don't know if it's because of all my freckles or if I really do have lots of red in my hair. I guess Auburn isn't that big of a change. It isn't a permanent color and will wash out so It wont be red forever. I just thought it would be fun to change my look up a little. I think I will wait until I see Carrie again and then I will have her put purple or red in my hair, but for now it's going to be Auburn.

Robby, we just wanted to wish you a very happy 28th birthday! You are a dear friend to all of us. Thanks for always being there for us when we needed a laugh, help with our house, a babysitter, and a shoulder to cry. You are a great friend and we love you! We hope you have a very happy day.
