Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is my favorite time of year. My favorite part of Thanksgiving day is sharing with those around the dinner table what I'm Thankful for. This year I was a little sad because I wasn't able to do that. I have so much to be thankful for and I want to share it with those I love. I am so thankful that I was able to spend Thanksgiving in Utah with my family. I'm thankful for my children and for the joy and purpose they bring to my life. I'm thankful for my amazing husband who is my best friend and great example to me. I'm thankful for the gospel and my ward family. I'm thankful for the country I live in and the many freedoms we have. I'm so happy and blessed, I could go on forever in Thanksgiving. What are you thankful for?

Lexie Made Her First Blanket

A while back Lexie went to a YW service project and learned how to make fleece blankets. Lexie decided that she wanted to make herself a blanket. I took her to Joeann's Fabric to pick out some fleece. The fleece she picked out has all her favorite colors in it and she bought it with her babysitting money. After we got home Lexie starting making her blanket and fished it that night. He blanket turned out super nice and is excited to make more.

When I think of Bryson I always remember the weeks we spent in Medford and particularly this picture.

For his third birthday I wrote him this little poem:
Today is Bryson's birthday
A very happy day it will be
For my youngest Grandson
Who has the same fine name as me.
I love his little chuckle
I love his great big smiles
I'll be there to cheer his triumphs
I'll support him through his trials.
I hope he'll always remember
I hope he'll always see
Just how much I really love him
And how proud of him I'll be.
