Spiderman

Ethan was really into Spiderman when he was younger and now Bryson is. Bryson has been wearing Ethan's old Spiderman costume and he loves it. Travis helps Bryson sling webs around the house and Bryson can't get enough of it. This is a picture of our little Spiderman hanging from the ceiling. What a cutie!!

The 3 Amigos

I'm watching Cameron, Loren and Collin today while Robby and Christy help Travis out with bookwork. The boys are having so much fun together. This is a picture of the three boys sitting in Bryson's favorite chair watching Toy Story. They are so cute!

Fire In East Medford

One of the mountains in Medford caught on fire today and a lot of people had to leave their homes. Travis put all the kids on our roof to watch the fire. They got to see big airplanes and hellicopters fly over our house and pour water on the fire. The fire is still going and I hope those near the fire will be safe.

Benji Is Driving Me Crazy!

I just had to get a picture of Travis driving in the car with Benji on his lap. As I have said before, It's hard to go anywhere without Benji getting in the car. Travis likes having Benji with him when he goes places! That's why Benji feels he has to go with us every time we leave the house. It wouldn't really bug me if Benji would just sit still in a seat and not have to sit on my lap or try to go down by my feet. Every time I go somewhere I have to trap him in the house, so he can't get out and jump in the car with me. Does anyone have a dog who loves being in the car? What do you do to keep your dog in one spot while your driving? I don't have room for a dog seat and he wouldn't want to be in a kennel while in the car. What should I do?

My Bidding Paddle Has Blingattude

Tonight I'm going to a service and good auction. Before the auction we were given a little paper plate to decorate and use as a bidding paddle. I thought I would go all out, so I decorated my paddle with Christmas lights and jewels. I had lots of fun making it and I can't wait to use it!

The auction was so much fun! I won a dozen homemade sugar cookies and chocolate/carmel covered pretzels from Tricia. I was talking to my mom about how much I was craving Tricia's yummy pretzels before the auction and then I got them. The Bishop was a little upset that he didn't get the pretzels and he was trying to talk me into handing them over. I'm also very happy that Aimee won my service, now I get to take picture of her cute family.

Remembering 9-11-01

I would like to thank all the men and women who are out risking their lives to protect us everyday. Your unselfish service and dedication is appreciated!

Ranch Reaction

Our little Bryson loves ranch dressing! There's just one little problem, his face where the ranch has touched turns dark red. I don't know if I should stop giving him ranch or if this is something that happens to a lot of people. Does anyone know why this is happening? Am I a bad mom for giving my son something that causes his little face to have a reaction?

First Day Of School 2009

Allison, Ethan, and Maddy started school today. They were all so excited to go to their new school. Maddy found out this morning, that she is in the same class with her good friend Kyla Powell and that made her even happier. I'm so glad that each of my kids have some good friends in their class. Here is a picture of all our school kids together. Now it's just me and Bryson at home during the day and Bryson is already missing the kids.

Allison's in 4Th grade and Ethan's in 2nd grade

Maddy's in 1st grade at Lone Pine Elementary.

New School

The kids and I walked to Lone Pine Elementary today to find out what teachers they have and to see the new building. They have been working on the new school for so long. Last year the poor kids had to deal with the loud construction all year long and now it's finally finished. The school looks really nice and my kids are so excited for school to start tomorrow.

My Crazy Drivers

The one thing my kids love about our house is our very long driveway. They love driving their Jeeps up and down the diveway, even Benji thinks it's fun.

Happy Reunion

The Eisenbrandt's came to visit this week and our family was so happy to see them. We didn't get to spend as much time with them as we would have liked, but we are glad they made time to see us. We had them all to ourselves last night. We had a fun basketball tournament, enjoyed a yummy dinner made by Tim, and then we spent the rest of the evening beating on the xbox trying to get it to work so we could play Rock Band. Good Times! It was so nice to see are friends and their cute kids. We love you guys and hope to see you again soon.

Lexie Etched Her Way Into My Heart

I woke up the other day and went to get on my computer and I found this sweet little note on the Etch A Sketch from Lexie. This cute little note made my day. Thanks Lexie for being such a wonderful daughter and friend. I love you!!

Redding Waterslides

Our family had such a great time today. When we got to the water park there was hardly anyone there. It was like we had the whole park to ourselves. We didn't have to wait in any lines and the slides were a blast! Everyone of my kids except Bryson of course went down the "toilet bowel" and I have to say that was my favorite ride!

This ride is called the Avalanche or Lavalanche according to Ethan. It looks like a huge half pipe and it's pretty steep. Ethan and I were the first to go on it and then Lexie and Ethan and Maddy and Travis. I can't believe my little kids were brave enough to go on that scary slide. I know that I would have never done that at their age.

Chucky Cheese's

We went to Chucky Cheese's for dinner. It was nice to go and have fun without worrying about my kids. I'm glad that Bryson had a good time here because I felt really bad for him at the water park. Bryson didn't want to have anything to do with the water. He went down one slide with Travis but that was it. Bryson spent most of his time at the water park watching us.
