Going Nuts Over Peanuts

I'm getting very tired of picking up packing peanuts! Travis has been very busy with his eBay business and he has his packing materials upstairs in a pile. Bryson is always getting into Travis' Pile of packing materials and it drives me crazy. He loves playing with the packing peanuts! They are always all over the place. I have even found a packing peanut stuck up in Bryson's nose. Packing peanuts are very hard to clean up. It's even harder to clean them up when they are in pieces. They stick to everything they touch and then you find yourself walking around with packing peanuts stuck to you. Once they are finally cleaned up and put away, Bryson finds them and then we have another mess to clean.

Laundy Never Ends

I absolutely hate doing laundry! Laundry is never finished at my house, it just keeps on coming. If I don't keep on top of it everyday, it will take over my home. During spring break I played too much and didn't keep up with my laundry. Yesterday I had to pay for my laziness because I was doing laundry all day. I had Laundry coming out of my ears and it's still not finished. When I wash my kids clothes I always find little treasures in the washer and the dryer. Can you guess who's pockets all of this came from? If you haven't already figured it out it was Ethan's. Ethan goes around my house and collects everything. You need to make sure all your money is hidden well around here because if you don't Ethan will find it. After taking this picture I had a load of laundry come out with at least four dollars worth of quarters in it. I have talked to Ethan about taking money that doesn't belong to him and he apologized and then told me that he just likes to collect money. Ethan also likes to collect keys, batteries, locks and small toys. I try to get these treasures out of his clothes before I wash them but I always seem to find extra stuff in with my laundry.

Lava Lanes

We went to Lava Lanes for family night last night and the kids had a lot of fun. Bryson was the winner of the night, Lexie came in second and Allison third. Bowling isn't my favorite activity to do with the kids because they are always running all over the place but we had a good time together.

Lexie's Hair

Lexie colored her hair for the first time yesterday. She colored it a reddish brown color and then we took he in to get her hair cut like Alice Cullen (the girl on Twilight). I love how her hair color brings out her pretty blue eyes.

Hot Pots

After the Crater Rock Museum we went to Hot Pots and the kids painted their own plates and mugs. Hot Pot's is such a fun place, even Travis was enjoying himself. Bryson had fun but he only painted for a little while and then wanted to play with the sponge and the water the rest of the time. I think we will be going back to hot pots soon because everyone has such a good time!

Crater Rock Museum

Yesterday was our families first time visiting the rock museum. There was so many different rocks, gems, crystals, fossils, and shells to look at. It was fun to get out and spend some time as a family.

Fun With Rock Band 2

The Eisenbrant's came over last night and we played Rock Band 2. It was so much fun! Travis got out the Rock Band fog machine and lights. Every time we played a song the lights would play to the music and the fog machine would let out poofs of fog. It was so fun!

Here are some pictures I took of Travis Rockin' out on the guitar. Allison took the picture of our band playing. She didn't get all the fun lights in the pictures and had a hard time getting a picture of the whole band together.

Park Hoppin'

I took the kids park hoppin' today. The weather is so nice! After going to the first park I had to run home and change because it was so hot outside. The kids had fun and we were there for a good while until it got really crowded and the older rowdy kids came and took over the playground.

Five Little Monkeys Swinging In A Tree

I had the car today so I was able to go and take the kids to Homes Park. They all had so much fun playing on the playground and in the trees. Bryson is now old enough to climb on all the monkey bars and not hurt himself. Here are some pictures of my five little monkeys swinging in a tree.

Day Spa Date

Travis surprised me yesterday and took me to Gervais Day spa here in Medford. He scheduled an appointed for us at 4:00 to get pedicures and an hour long side by side full body massage. It was so nice to get away and be pampered for a few hours at a nice spa. Thanks Travis for the nice relaxing date you planned for us I really enjoyed it.

Heroes

One of my favorite shows to watch on TV is Heroes. Every time I'm watching it with my kids they say " Look Mom! Matt Parkman looks just like Tom." I thought about it and it's true he does look like one of our friends from our ward. I had a picture of Tom from when we went to The Olive Garden for our friend Mary's birthday party. I cropped him out of the picture and then found a picture of Matt from Heroes. They do look alike! I hope that Tom's family doesn't get upset with me for this post and if they want me to take it off I will but I thought it was pretty funny.

Twilight

My friends and family have been reading the Twilight books for a few years now and everyone I talk to seemed to be obsessed with the books. I think I stayed away from Twilight because too many people were going crazy over it and I didn't want to be like everyone else. Travis went to rent a movie the other night and he rented Twilight. I watched it for my first time last night with Travis. Come to think of it, I watched it by myself because Travis fell asleep not too long after the movie started. I thought the movie was really good but I don't know if I liked it because of the character Edward or because I liked the story. Did you know that Robert Pattinson (The actor who playes Edward in Twilight) also played Cedric Diggory in The Goblet Of Fire. When the other Twilight movies come out I'll watch them, but I'm definitely not a crazy Twilight fan or groupie.

My Eye Color Results

I took a facebook quiz on eye color and this is what it said about my eyes. Your eyes reflect the color yellow. You are a warm and inviting person. You tend to have brighter spirits more often than others. You try to see the silver lining in everything. You are also very open to others' opinions and put your heart in everything you do. You also love to make people happy by being a bit humorous. Because you are so positive when things turn out not as you planned you tend to feel pity for yourself. You can also be gullible and unaware of things. You can also be forgetful at times. In all you are a Bubbly person. This is so right! I do like to be positive and I love making people happy. I always tend to blame myself when people around me are upset or sad.

Spring Break

Today's the last day of school and then the kids are all home for Spring Break. The weather here has been so nice, I don't want to spend spring break stuck in my house! I want to do something fun over spring break. I was thinking it would be fun to go to the coast and see the Redwoods. Our family hasn't done that for a very long time. Bryson has never been and I think it would be fun to get out and do something fun as a family.
I found some fun pictures of our last trip to the coast with my family. I think this was our last trip. This picture was taken in 2004 when my family came to visit. We went to the Redwoods and the coast together. Michele was living with us at that time and Brandon was working for us up in Washington. I miss having my family around! Carrie, Michele and I had always had so much fun together!

While we were at the coast that day Travis picked a bunch of pretty daisies for me. What a sweet husband I have!

This is a picture of me and Madison standing on a cliff at the coast and then me, Travis and Ethan just before leaving the coast. I can't believe how little my kids were.

Random pictures from yesterday

Travis' eBay business is doing great. A little too great I think. I haven't seen Travis for a few days now because he is trying to keep his many eBay costumers happy. These are all the boxes he had to pack and ship yesterday and this is just the beginning. He has many more packages to pack and it is getting a little crazy!

I haven't had a picture of all my kids together in a long time. Last night I wanted to try to get some good pictures of my cute kids. It was hard to get them to sit still and smile at the same time but I think I got a few cute pictures of them. Maddy was looking at this picture of herself and she said to me "Mom that's not my smile." I said to her "What do you mean it's not your smile it's on your face." Then Maddy said "That's not a good smile, I think I lost my smile." I thought that was pretty funny! When Maddy came home from school she was smiling. I said " Maddy I thought you lost your smile." Maddy said "I did my teacher had it." "Why did your teacher have it?" I asked and she said "Because every time I see her she makes me laugh. She has a funny face." Kids say the cutest things.

I went into photo shop and cut this picture out of the ones I took of the kids together. While I was taking pictures Bryson leaned over to Maddy and gave her a kiss. I thought it was the cutest picture. Bryson loves Maddy so much! He is always kissing her and giving her hugs. I think that Maddy is Bryon's favorite.

Lexie made this hat for Bryson yesterday and I thought he looked so cute in it.
