Trip to Utah

We left our house at 7:00 am for Utah and the trip was going great until our transmission killed over just outside of Winnemucca. Travis walked to the little restaurant that was about 200 yards away and called for a tow truck to take the car to a mechanic. The cost for the tow truck to pull us to Winnemucca was $400 . Our insurance only covered $100 of the towing fee, if we had AAA we wouldn't have had to pay anything.

We had to sit and wait for five hours at this little place for the tow truck to come. We ate lunch and then the kids spent the rest of the time playing with the dogs that were there.

Finally the truck arrived and we all sat in the van and got towed for two hours. The first part of the trip in the back of the tow truck Carrie was scared and the kids started crying because the van was bouncing up and down and they thought we were going to roll off.

Hangin' out in Utah

We are still in Utah and will be home by Monday. We had a hard time getting here because our van's transmission went out just outside of Winnemucca. I will post pictures and write more details about our trip when I get home. We have been having lots of fun with friends and family and we hope to have a safe trip home.

How Do You Like It?

I painted my family room today because I needed a change. I was tired of the dark color on my walls so I painted it a lighter color. The color is khaki and I love it! This is a sample of the carpet we are carpeting our whole house with. Do you like it?

When I was cleaning up yesterday I toe picked this sharp wire and it went right under my big toe nail. The rest of the night I spent dragging my foot around like I was one of those dancers on Micheal Jackson's Thriller.

GRANDMA AND GRANDPA WARNICK

Grandma and Grandpa Warnick came by to visit us this morning. Madison and Bryson were being shy like always so I didn't get many pictures of them with their Great Grandparents. I'm watching Chase today and he wasn't afraid to give Great Grandma and Grandpa hugs. It was so nice visiting with them!

HELP ME!

DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW TO REMOVE SUPER GLUE?

I'm so stupid! I was trying to fix my kick pedal for my drums because it broke in half. While I was trying to glue it, the glue dripped down the tube without me knowing and onto my finger. When I was finished I went to put the tube down and it was stuck. My finger was super glued to the stupid super glue tube. I have tried everything and it won't come off!

Utah

We are leaving for Utah next Friday for Spring Break to visit with family. It is so hard to come and see all the people we want to see in such a short time. We will try our hardest to see everyone and hopefully no one will feel upset or left out. We are excited to see everyone and hope to have a fun relaxing trip!

Cancun

Travis has been nominated to receive an award from Brunswick Billiards in Cancun on the 21st of April. We don't know what the award is or why he is getting one, he was just told that he needed to be there to receive an award. This will be his second award in the last couple months. I'm so proud of Travis and how much he has accomplished in his business in such a short time. Travis will be gone until the 24th and will be home for my Birthday on the 25th. He will only be home for a day or two and then we will be off to Hawaii. April will be a crazy month!

Kauai Here We Come

My friend Lissa King called me today with a big surprise. She told me that Travis and I will be going with them to Kauai. We will be leaving on the 26th of April and we will be back on the 5th. I'm so excited!!! Travis and I really need this vacation and thanks to the Kings and my Wonderful Parents we will be able to get away from the stress of everyday life. My parents will be watching our kids while we are gone and we want them to know how much we love and appreciate all they do for us. Thanks Mom and Dad, you two are the best!

My Cute Little Monster!

My funny little monster ran around the living room with this on his head tonight. He was growling, laughing and having a good old time. Bryson started to get tired after all that running around and found his "sniffies" and came to me for some cuddles. Lately he has been giving away lots of hugs and kisses and when he hugs you he loves to pat your back. What a little cutie!

Hangin' Out At The Park

We met Anja and her friends at the park today. The whether has been so nice here lately and we love it! Madison and Bryson had so much fun playing on the playground. It's so fun to watch Bryson play! He is such a cute little man and he is growing too fast. Madison will be starting Kindergarten this year and even though she will only be gone for a few hours each day I will miss having her around. I just need to enjoy this time I have with her now because before I know it she will be in school full time.

Addictions

I have to confess that I'm addicted to picture taking, Blogging, Rock Band and My Travis. I just can't seem to get enough lately! I know that there is always house work to be done and other things to do but, being a hard working mother of five I need to have some me time once in a little while to stay sane!

BearCreek Park

We went to the park last night around 6:30 with Carrie and Aaron. It was such a pretty night and the kids had fun running around in the dark. Lexie was at her friends house that is why she is missing in the picture. Travis also got new glasses last Saturday and I think he looks very good in them!

PartyLite Party At Carrie's

Lexie's Friends

Lexie had her friends Emily and Amber over yesterday and they all had so much fun together. They are nice girls and they play very well together. We need to have them over more often!

Roller Odyssey

Lexie celebrated her birthday with friends and family at the Roller Odyssey. We had the whole place to ourselves for two hours and it was so much fun! Ethan and Madison were even out there roller skating. It was so cute to watch them crash and then brush themselves off and get back up again. I guess the new thing to get your friends for their birthday is a gift card because Lexie sure got a handful of them. Lexie also got five webkinz for her bithday and that made her very happy. For those of you who don't know what they are, webkinz are stuffed animals that come with a code you type in the computer and you can dress and take care of them. Overall the party was a hit. We had a good turnout and everyone had a blast!
