Ethan finally got his braces yesterday and it made his day. When we pulled up to the orthodontist yesterday, Ethan jumped out of the car and ran in to see Dr. West. After getting his braces we went and got him some shoes and headed to the boy scout office to order some bird houses. On our way home after our errands, Ethan says " This is the best day! I got braces, new shoes, and I get to go to scouts today." I'm so glad that Ethan is happy about his braces and that soon he will have nice teeth to go with his nice smile.

Ethan, tell your mom to drop the "cute" thingy. You are a handsome brute who has a spark in his eye and loves to be actively doing things. It's hard to realize you are in Cub Scouts now. Rumor has it your mom and dad have jumped right into being Cub Scout leaders--for you and your friends. Yep, Cub Scouts is a family thing.
