Wisconsin

Travis was invited to be a member of the Brunswick Advisory Council in Kohler,Wisconsin. He was chosen to be one of their twelve top Brunswick dealers in the country. I'm sorry if I sound like I'm bragging, but I'm so proud of him and how far he has come with his business. We had to board three planes to get to Wisconsin. Our fist plane landed in the SLC airport. It made me so upset to be so close to family and friends and not even see anyone! We were only in Salt Lake for a half hour so we couldn't see anyone if we wanted to. After a very long day of flying we arrived in Milwaukee at 5:30 and was picked up in a limo. It was an hour limo drive from Milwaukee to Kohler. We then checked in at The American Club resort hotel in Kohler and went and had a very fancy dinner with the Brunswick dealers in the Kohler Design Center. The room we stayed in was very nice and the bed was very comfortable. The very little time I had in our room, I spent relaxing in our hot jetted tub. All the meals there were five course meals. We would sit down at our fancy table with a menu in front of us. I thought the menu was something we picked our meal from but it was what they were serving for dinner. We got every thing on that menu list in one sitting. After each plate they would come over with a fabric comb and brush off any crumbs that might be on the table and I even saw them put napkins on dealers laps when they sat down to eat. The meals were very fancy and very delicious! The village inn at Kohler is a five diamond resort, it has a wealth of history dating back to the early 1900s, it was such a beautiful place! We had back to back meeting the whole time we were there and the meetings were located in The Great Hall Of Great Lakes. Every room in that hall was named after one of the great lakes most of our meetings were in the Lake Michigan room. I had to take a picture of the ladies room, it was a very nice looking bathroom. I was the only one at the meetings who wasn't a dealer, so I kinda felt a little out of place at times. Believe it or not I did enjoy going to the meetings and watching Travis at work. Travis really enjoyed getting business tips from the worlds top Brunswick dealers. He was the only dealer at the meetings taking notes and really soaking everything in. The Dealers were the most talkative at cocktail hour when they had a few too many drinks and Travis loved how they helped him with things he had questions with. It was so cold in Kohler. The weather was never above five degrees and we froze! We were inside the whole time and on our last night there I wanted to go outside and take some picture because it was so pretty outside of the hotel. We weren't outside that long because of how cold it was but I'm glad that we did take the time to go out and look around. This building off to the right is Kohler Company Headquarters and it's right across the street from where we stayed. All the trees at the resort had lights on them and everything looked so pretty with the white snow. Everyone there loved Travis and they were very impressed with what he had to bring to the table. At the last meeting when all the dealers were done with their intense discussion and they were closing the meeting, Travis got up and thanked the Brunswick team for inviting him to come and join their council. He told everyone that being there was a great opportunity and that he was appreciative of all their thoughts and ideas. Travis also told everyone to not take the meetings for granted, that he had learned a lot from everyone and was honored to be apart of the advisory team. Afterwards the Brunswick team came up to him and thanked him for his closing. They told Travis that out of all the years of doing these meetings, no one ever cared to say such nice things at closing. They said it was a closing they had always dreamed of and it really made them feel good to know that they were appreciated. I had fun spending time with Travis and I just want to thank our good friend Tim for taking such good care of our kids while we were away.

More pictures from our trip.

This is an other picture of our hotel room.

This is the Founders Boardroom where the dealers went after their long day of meetings for cocktails.

One of the many pretty chandeliers found in the Lake superior room where they had a product discussion.

The pretty hallway leading to our room.

This is a picture of Travis sitting in the limo on our way to the hotel.

I hate being in airplanes! I just feel so uncomfortable and confined. I can never really get any sleep no matter how hard I try. This is Travis sleeping on his tray, I was very jealous at how fast he could fall asleep. I guess that is where my kids get it. I thought he looked so cute so I just had to take a picture.

That's awesome... It looks like a fun trip, but sucks that it's nice a nice tropical place for you to be at, but looks like you got all the pampering you could ever need anyways.

Thanks for calling us while you stopped at SLC airport. Just enough time to say hi and blow you a kiss. The place you stayed in looks very nice. It looks like your in Utah with all that snow. I'm so happy for you that you were able to go and have some time with Travis. Its good to get away once in a while. Very nice of Tim to watch your kids for you. What a guy.
Love and miss you so much!!
