The Still Small Voice

Every morning I drive to my friend Angela's house to go walking. When I was driving home after our walk today I was blessed. The light at the intersection was green and free from traffic. I had no cars in front of or behind me, but I had a strong feeling to stop and not go into the intersection. Soon after I stopped, a big truck came speeding through the intersection running a red light. If I would have ignored the feeling I had to stop (even though it seemed like a funny thing to do at the time) I would have been in a serious accident. I'm so thankful that Heavenly Father was watching over me and that I listened to that still small voice.

I'm so happy your Heavenly Father is watching over you. Even happier that you were listening to that still small voice that too often we ignore or don't hear. I'm glad your safe. I know he loves you and we love you too!

That is why we try to always stay worthy to receive those promptings! I am so glad you are okay! PS Steve has done the dish soap thing too, it was a MESS to clean up so just so you feel better a 23 yr. old can do it too :)

I'm so glad that he spoke, you heard, and listened! What a blessing! It can be hard to listen at times like that, when it seems so strange! I'm so glad you're okay!!!

Wow Bean. I am not sure I would have listened. I usually have music on and generally tune stuff out. I need to pay more attention to things i guess. Weren't you and I talking about not remebering how we got to one point from another when we drive. Crazy!!!!

Now that's what I call a testimony builder that our Father in Heaven is watching out for us and that the Holy Ghost with it's still small voice is communicating with us. How grateful I am that you were listening and abiding by it's counsel. Whew...
