Memories

1. As a comment on our blog, leave one memory that you and I(or any of my family members) had together. It doesn't matter if you knew us a little or a lot, anything you remember!
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments.

The first time I saw you was across the table at Kates Kitchen. You were so pretty and just perfect in every way. I too thought you were a little stuck up. Later after we left and the motocycle trip to Bear Lake was planned, I was told that you were a really nice person and just a little shy. I decided that I wanted to get to know you better. And Boy am I glad I did. You have no idea how much I loved hanging out with you! The workouts at 5:30am. Wow, we were hot!!! Too bad I can't have you around to motivate me again!! I think the memory that I smile the most about is when you guys came all the way to Ohio to visit us. That touched me so much that you would be willing to fly out there just for me! The trip to the Sacred Grove, Niagra Falls, and then to Ceder Point. White t-shirt soaking wet, ring any bells? It was hilarious getting so soaked and then a blast to go shopping for new cloths. When we are around you we always have a blast, expecially when we don't have kids tugging on us every 5 seconds! I don't know when we will be able to go on a trip with you, but I do know that when we do we WILL have a Blast!!! Love you!

Although I have a bazillion memories of you some of my favorite were made that summer I came to visit. You were going through an Elvis obsession (which you still have right?) and had posters of him ALL OVER your room. You were dating Travis and he would come over on his bullet bike and we would go for rides around the block. Then there was Lagoon! Ohhh those were the days. We would ride the sky chair (or whatever it was called) over and over and check out boys. We were SO COOL! We also went to "the bubble" and I still think it was so funny that Travis wore a speedo! :)
I love you Kathleen and we can't wait to see you when you come to Utah....soon right?

Kathlene, since we are sisters, I have so many memories of our childhood and there are too many to pick from. Hmmmm......One memory comes to mind. There was a time when we lived in Centerville and we were probably about 12 and 13. One day and I can't remember what it was exactly that we were doing...swinging or doing that thing where we would hold onto each others feet and roll like a wheel, but anyway we were rolling or swinging and you were over me and we got laughing and you were laughing so hard that...you peed on me! LOL I'm sure it's not the memory you were hoping for and it may embarrass you a little but just remember...I was the one that got wet! Love you to death Bean!

Hawaii! You and Travis looking like lobsters, pina colada's and Travis running down the beach in flippers. Can't wait to do it again.

I love the comment about Travis wearing a speedo. I don't think I'd want to see that, not because it's Travis but just because I don't think men should wear them!
Anyway, I don't have a ton of memories yet but I love that you took me out to the Family Fun Center to race. It was so much fun and just really helped to turn my day around. I am so glad that we are friends.

Well there is so much bean. I can't even express it without laughing or crying. when I moved to oregon I had no one. You were there for me. I didn't know how things would work out being that I moved so far from friends and family. But you became a huge part of my life and my heart. Playing sequence, eating nerd ropes, watching chick flicks, making up parties for any reason at all, Painting crafts, making cards, just sitting and laughing, having someone to talk about good things and bad, making goodies, HALLOWEEN, Spa nights, girls nights, shopping together, and I could go on and on. I have so many memories of you bean. I miss you so much. I am so thankful that I moved to Oregon and became closer to you and your family. I luv ya girlie! Hope to see you soon!

The main memory I have is your guys sealing in the Logan Temple. One of my favorite Temples. Man there are so many I can't just go with one. Oh yeah you were staying in Magna with some of your family and we came to get you in a blue safari gmc van. It was when I decided I wasn't mad at you anymore and we all went to see your uncle down in Provo or somewhere but anyway that barbeque/dinner was fun that house of your uncles was awesome. All his sports memorabelia and the cool attic rooms he built or had built. Or it was the time I was on that scripture kick before my mission and we read about Ammon together that was cool too. Me and Travis have a lot of memories too. I remember that huge boat of his totally making those trash cans fly. I remember the hooky bobbin in the viewmont parking lot. I remember climbing that cliff with andrew and me and andrew having that rock fight. I remember the youth trip to the Snake River and Dusty Olsen hit Travis with a rock and I was like "oh man I am so glad I didn't hit him his dad would kill me." There was so much blood I got a little light headed. Oh yeah and I remember the times me and Travis would go "scoping for chicks" is what I remember calling it I think at Lagoon. For some strange reason I remember a girl in a purple shirt that both of us commented on. The video games and the sleepovers good times. Oh yeah Travis and Shelby always had the best stories about Dutch John.

Hmmm, where to start.... Well my favorite memories of Travis were when Travis would swing dance with me. He always made me feel like I was good at it even though he did all the work and I just followed his lead. Maybe it was the fact that Travis was always teasing Kathlene that I was the better swing dancer that made me feel like a pro. Ha ha. I would love to see if I could still do it. As for Kathlene my favorite memory was when we lived in West Bountiful. I was 4 & Kathlene was 12. We were sitting on the floor behind the couch with a big bucket of beans. Suddenly a light bulb went off in kathlene's head. She said " I bet you can't put a bean in your nose..." Sure enough I put the bean up my nose to prove her wrong. Little did I know I didn't know how to blow out my nose and kept inhaling the bean. I had the whole family sitting there trying to teach me to blow out and I just kept inhaling it further up. I walked around the house for the next hour or so with bobby pins in my nose, not being able to breath out my nose til it fell out. I always knew there was a reason we call you Bean! Love you guys!

oh... so many to choose from and we've only known each other a year!
Let's see... I would have to say that every moment with you is a GREAT memory! Anything from rockband addictions to "Mr. Travis do I look sassy?" Mason and Ethan... Chloe and the girls... it's all so fun!!

Geez, this is hard! I just have too many, let's see, the first time I met you always sticks out in my head, when you and Carrie came up to me at church and asked me "how old are you?" Then you trying to find my apartment the next day! I love painting things and baking in your old house, that was fun, especially painting my coffee table and chairs! And our Halloween parties, I love those! And of course camping at Humbug, we need to do that before it gets too cold! I love you lots!

Most are embarrassing for either me or you and Travis, hmmmm......

Bean, Doing our buns of steel work out when I lived with you in Salt Lake ( I believe you have a picture of it ).
Working together at Deer Valley was fun and you always went on a walk with me so I could check out that prince charming guy.
Being sick together at your home on Waterford Ct. you had a strep throat and I had a sinus infection.
You, me, Anja, and Carrie made up our own line dance in your front room. I can't remeber our cool moves to the "Boot, Scoot and Boogie".

Here is one for you, Travis and Lexie. We were on our way down the canyon from Deer Valley. I let out a nasty fart, and pretended I was asleep so you would blame it on Lexie. I was caught cause I couldn't keep a straight face when you both in sequence said, " LEXIE....". It still makes me laugh!

Travis... where do I start? Yeah, I made up song for you that had a nasty word in it just to get the grotest reaction on your face... Priceless!!!
Watching the Military channel with you late at night, learning about the German war tanks.
I loved when you would hurt yourself (not really bad) at work, and we would laugh at your expense

Ok, probably the most vivid memory I can conjure up is when you and Travis were dating. I remember I was staying at your house for the week with Jen. You guys, along with some friends, got back from a date. Somehow we got on the subject of gymnastics, and Travis was having me do backhand springs repeatedly on the back lawn. I can still do them, just so you guys know. :)

When we lived across the street from each other in West Valley. We were inseperable. We had tons of sleep overs. Jumping on your parents waterbed, catching garden snakes, trying to make Aaron pee his pants while he was sleeping by putting his hand in warm water. Spending weekends together after you moved and then gradually growing apart. I am glad we have been able to get in touch again and it is fun to watch your family grow and all the fun things you do:)

How fun! Let's see... Kathlene, I remember that last sleepover we had at my house when we made predictions about who we would marry, and when. We wrote down quotes, and I remember that yours was 'people don't care how much you know until they know how much you care." :) I still have those predictions somewhere. I remember playing night games at the park on the warm summer evenings. Ahhh, those were the days.

My heck...too many to count. Singing Annie songs in our braids to sneaking out at night to go see Travis. Us sleeping on the tramp & sneakily talking to the boys through the tramp. You living with me & you going ape wild over me popping my toes & my messy side of the room. You always talking about Travis & missing him. Us singing to Elvis or Simon & Garfunkel. Us going on a double date with Ryan & Joey and Joey fell asleep in the movie. You being scared of my Crow poster. My stereo turning on all by itself & freaking us out. You militarily like getting me to do arobics so we could be sexy. Us taking silly pics of ourselves. I love you!!

Oh I just remembered another one I have to add. We were playing spoons & my cracking your finger and you digging your nails into my arm to win...I STILL HAVE A SCAR!!

Travis, I have always been so crazy about you and I still feel the same way today. I love how you take time to do little things for me. Like when you spent hours carving the most perfect heart for me while camping with your family, picking me pretty fall leaves, trips to the Lake, logan cave, cabin, the Opera, and you even wrote a song just for me. You use to make me tapes and leave a little message at the end. You would drive from Logan every weekend no matter how busy you were, just to spend time with me. You have a fun personality, You are very smart and good at fixing and solving problems. I love you Travis, I could go on and on forever about all the wonderful memories we have shared together. I'm so blessed to be your wife!!
