Madison knitted her first hat last night and she did a great job. We added a pretty felt flower when she was finished and I think it looks super cute on her. Love you Madison!

Kathlene and Maddie, We love your hat! Whitney has knitted some hats, too... but we have never seen a felt flower like the one in this picture. It is SO cute! Can you tell us how to make a felt flower? Thanks!!! --Carmen and Whitney
They are really easy! You can find many tutorials online. Just get a strip of felt cut 2 inches wide and a foot long depending on how big you want your flower. As you roll the felt twist it at the same time. When you are finished cut a circle out of some felt to glue behind your flower. You can also add a pin or a hair clip in the back. I hope I didn't confuse you. We miss your family! Are you guys going to Utah for Christmas?
